It gives us a pleasure to invite you to the international conference WAY TO MUTUAL UNDERSTANDING, which will be held at the premises of Senate of Parliament of Czech Republic in Prague, building A, in May 26, 2008. The conference is organised as a part of international campaign „1001 Actions for Dialogue“ initiated by Ann Lindh Euro-Mediterranean Foundation for the Dialogue between Cultures in the year 2008, the EU Year of Intercultural Dialogue.
The campaign sets out to promote a better understanding and coexistence within the Euro-Mediterranean region.
The aim of conference is to show all possibilities for mutual understanding and enrichment of different cultures. The conference focuses on dialogue regarding mutual european cultural heritage which is closely interconnected with the three big religions of the region – Judaism, Christianity and Islam. Human rights,civic freedoms and social rights questions are mirrored in all religions and should be discussed from different points showing especially the political and social impact of religion.
