Title of Abstract: A Geometric Interpretation of the Analysis of Unreplicated Factorial Experiments

For unreplicated factorial experiments, model selection is a challenging problem due to the lack of an independent estimate of experimental variability. Many different approaches to this problem have been suggested in the statistical literature but no consensus has been reached. This talk uses geometric imagery to explore some of the issues involved.
