Transportation in Prague

Prague has excellent public transportation The metro (subway), trams, and buses run from 5 a.m. till midnight, and at night trams run continuously. Tickets can be purchased in yellow sales machines (at the airport, in each metro station) or at newsstands for 26 CZK (and are valid for a period of up to 75 minutes of travel). A one-day card can be purchased for 100 CZK, a three-day card for 330 CZK and a five-day card for 500 CZK.

Upon arrival at Prague Ruzyne Airport

You can use one of the following means of transportation

• Cab-stands at Prague Ruzyne Airport are located directly in front of arrival halls Terminal 1 - Exit D and Terminal 2 - Exit E and operate 24 hours a day. The recommended AAA Radiotaxi Company will charge between 460 - 540 CZK for the trip to the ANDELS Hotel Prague.

• CEDAZ shuttle vans run every 30 minutes from 06:00 to 21:00 between the airport and the city centre NAMESTI REPUBLIKY metro station for 120 CZK or to metro station DEJVICKA for 90 CZK. It takes about 30/45 minutes and the van is comfortable. Tickets are available on board. We recommend taking door-to-door service for 1-4 persons for a fixed price of 480 CZK one-way. The CEDAZ stand is located just in front of the Airport arrival halls.


• City Transport Authority (MHD)

  Don't forget to buy a 26 CZK ticket from the news-stand or from the yellow machine at the airport). You should also buy and validate an 18 CZK ticket for each suitcase.

  Bus No 119 runs every 15 minutes from 4:30 am to 11:30 pm between the airport and DEJVICKA metro station (about 30 minutes). At DEJVICKA take the green line "A" to MUSTEK, and change to the yellow line "B" in direction of ZLICIN. Alight at ANDEL station for the Andels Hotel.

  Bus No. 100 runs between the airport and metro station ZLICIN (on yellow line - B): Terminal North 1 - Terminal North 2 - ZLIČÍN. The journey time is 15 minutes. These buses run every 15 minutes from about 4:30am to 11:30pm. The metro yellow line "B" will get you directly to ANDEL station.

Arrival by train

• From the Main Railway Station PRAHA HLAVNI NADRAZI metro station to the ISBIS-2008 site take Metro C (red line) station HLAVNI NADRAZI in the direction LADVI, change at FLORENC (1 stop) to metro "B" (yellow line) direction ZLICIN and alight at ANDEL station.
• From the Holesovice Railway Station NADRAZI HOLESOVICE metro station to the ISBIS-2008 site take tram No. 12 in the direction SIDLISTE BARRANDOV and alight at ANDEL stop.
