We are delighted to invite you to attend ISBIS-2008, the next symposium of the International Society for Business and Industrial Statistics.

These international meetings are becoming increasingly popular, because of their excellent scientific programs (with publication of edited Proceedings), superb locations and delightful social programs.

They also provide an unusual opportunity to develop international cooperation and association among statisticians and quantitative analysts working in business and industry, and to enhance interaction between people in academia and those working in business and industry.

Generally, whilst we create a diverse scientific program, we provide some specific focus. On this occasion, there will be particular emphasis on Quantitative Analytics for Banking, Finance, and Insurance. You will have the opportunity to participate by presenting a paper, participating in a panel discussion, and through the networking opportunities presented by the social program.

And speaking of the social program, what better location could there be for combining business and pleasure than Prague? The photographs throughout this website should convince you of that.
