Within the triangle of education - participation - globalization,
the focus will be on questions of both scientific and practical relevance.
The following topics are expected:
 Participation and education (theoretical views and empirical reviews)
- Restructuring of education and globalization
 Education and the changing structure of the EU
- Organisational change in the educational system
- Teachers' roles in educational participation
- School and university systems in public and private spheres
- Lifelong learning and business education
- Nuevas perspectivas en participación y comunicación en las organizaciones
- Las organizaciones en las nuevas sociedades
- Comunicación, nuevas tecnologías y participación
- Participation, education and movements in organizational change
- Trade unions and education in a globalizing world
- The General Agreement on Trade and Services and the future of education
- Education for co-operativism and kibbutzim - local or universal?
- Participation in political parties and non-governmental organizations: Value differences and educational goals
- Participative research as an educating tool in a globalizing world
- Other related topics specific to the region, like Czech Rep. or Central & Eastern Europe issues
- Proposals that address all other aspects of the E-P-G triangle are welcome
Please note, two Sessions in Spanish in a parallel group shape the
important part of the conference. The blocks of topics in other languages
(and their organizers) are welcome as well.
