EPG PRAGUE 2004 Conference will be held at Michna Palace which is part of the Tyrs House (marked by the red pin
on the map here ) situated in the heart of the city's
Lesser Town (Mala Strana) near Charles Bridge and Hradcany Castle.
The Tyrs House Area has been evolving for almost seven centuries.
According to historical
notes it is the oldest continuously built-up area in Prague.
In the beginning it was part of Church lands and it then became an estate
of a rich aristocratic family. It presently belongs to the Czech Sokol Organisation
who are based in Mala Strana.
The ornately renovated and historically representative halls of Michna Palace together with the fountain and atrium make it truly one of the most
precious places in all Mala Strana.
