The workshop aims to bring together researchers active in the field of agent-oriented robotics,
agent-based manufacturing and agent-based coalition formation with key engineers and industrial
decision makers to share their views and experience in design, development and applying agent-oriented
industrial and defense oriented systems. The results of several EU projects in the field of agent-oriented
robotics and multi-agent systems will be presented. The conference also provides opportunity to discuss
wider issues of applications of agents in the field of homeland security, virtual enterprises, e-business etc.
There is a chance to bring together people active in several NIST, DARPA, ONR and EU projects.
