For entry visa to Vietnam, please note that citizens of ASEAN member countries (Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Laos, Philippines and Brunei) can visit Vietnam for 30 days without visa.
Also, citizens of Korea, Japan & Scandinavians (Norway, Denmark, Sweden and Finland passport holders) can visit Vietnam for 15 days without visa. Citizens of all other countries are required to get entry visa before departure
(Vietnam visa issued prior to departure by Vietnamese consulates or embassies) or a pre-approved Vietnam entry visa which is a visa issued on arrival at Vietnam's International Airports,
supplied before arrival in Vietnam (see http://www.inserimextravel.com.vn/traveltips.asp#visa). The cost of the latter is USD 40 (USD 15 for service fee and USD 25 for stamping fee paid to the Immigration in Hanoi).
